Codename was an iOS app that made it easy to create your own high fidelity Avatar and make videos starring your Avatar using your face and hands!
I was Lead iOS Engineer for Codename at Natural Synthetics from November 2021 to November 2022.
Highlights
- Led the iOS team to build the app from the ground up based on thorough designs
- Built a performant TikTok-style app with recording, editing, and uploading video, and a high-performance, fullscreen feed
- Shipped daily App Store updates, maintaining a strong focus on quality and stability
- Orchestrated A/B testing, monitored analytics, and helped refine product strategy
- Individually contributed end-to-end full-stack feature development
- Built “Collabs” feature with live audio and multiplayer 3D avatar interaction
- Built a custom framework to efficiently create non-custodial crypto wallets during onboarding and securely sign transactions for accessory purchases.
